Youth Programs

House League

This is Beaver Dams NO travel hockey program. It is designed to provide both an introduction into competitive hockey and the opportunity to play hockey without a travel commitment. The emphasis of this program is to play games and will conclude with an invitational tournament.

Age: 6-11 or (2nd year learn to skate)

Ability: Beginner

Equipment Required: Skates, Hockey Stick and Mouth Guard

Equipment Provided: Helmet, Jersey, Elbow Pads and Shin Pads

Youth Traveling Hockey Teams

The Beaver Dam Hockey Association supports competitive teams from the Mite level through high school. These teams known as Traveling Teams require traveling to other communities for games and tournaments.

As a member of USA Hockey and the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association our association supports the guidelines, rules and regulations they have established. Player evaluations for all travel teams take place at the beginning of each season. At the completion of evaluations, the skaters will be placed on the appropriate team according to age and ability. (Check calendar for evaluation dates). Practices are typically twice a week with games schedule on the weekends. Fees, work credits and fund raising responsibilities vary from team to team. Mites - Age 8 and under

Squirts - Ages 9 and 10

PeeWees - Ages 11 and 12

Bantams - Ages 13 and 14
